PRESIDENT'S SCHOLARSHIP WEEKEND

What if you could attend a premier Catholic university on a full-ride scholarship?

鶹ý’s President’s Scholarship Weekend is an exclusive event where exceptional students can be considered for significant scholarships—including awards that cover full tuition, fees, and room and board. No matter what, every participant is guaranteed at least $26,000 in scholarships. See what’s needed to be invited and attend!  

STEP 1: APPLY & BE ACCEPTED

Start by completing your application to 鶹ý by December 15. The 鶹ýapplication is free and  takes only five minutes to complete! Apply now.

  • Submit all official transcripts and test scores
  • Connect with your admissions counselor
  • Complete your admissions interview
  • Be accepted to 鶹ý 

STEP 2: MEET SELECTION CRITERIA

To be invited students must:

  • Be an incoming first-year student
  • Hold a minimum 3.7 unweighted GPA
  • Score at least 30 ACT, 1360 SAT, and 92 CLT

STEP 3: COMPETE FOR SCHOLARSHIPS

At President's Scholarship Weekend, finalists compete for 鶹ý’s top awards. All participants will receive at least $26,000 in scholarships.

  • President's Scholarship – Full cost of attendance (tuition, fees, and room and board), totaling more than $192,000.
  • Provost Scholarship – Full cost of tuition and fees, totaling more than $132,000.
  • Additional President's Merit Scholarships:
    St. Thomas Aquinas President's Merit Scholarship: $30,000
    St. John Henry Newman President's Merit Scholarship: $20,000
    St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Prsident's Merit Scholarship: $12,000

All participants will be invited to participate in the Honors Program—an extra $12,000. Also, all attendees will receive the $2,000 Overnight Visit Scholarship.

Please note: Each scholarship listed above reflects the total amount awarded over four years. Divide each amount by four to determine the yearly award.

The President's Scholarship Weekend will include:

  • A full tour of campus, including premier Honors Program housing
  • An exclusive dinner with President Middendorf and his wife, Christine
  • A joy-filled overnight stay with 鶹ýstudents
  • An experience of exciting and fun activities around campus
  • An encounter with the heart of life at 鶹ýwith Mass and prayer
  • A personal interview with a member of our world-class faculty

ٳұ&;ո鴡շ

Students are paired with 鶹ýhost students for overnight accommodations. Parents and families are invited to stay at nearby hotels.

For students traveling alone, 鶹ýoffers complimentary airport pickup from Southwest Florida  International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers. Students should coordinate their travel plans with the Office of Admissions.
