Padre Pio Campus Health Clinic is a free clinic available to all students in need of medical care. Operated by Rachel McDonald, RN, MSN in partnership with Dr. Anthony D'Agostino who specializes in internal medicine and currently operates out of Naples, Florida.

Sports physicals, imaging, immunizations, and lab draws are currently not available in the campus health clinic, but case-by-case orders or referrals may be available.

Class exemption notes are not provided by the campus health clinic, in certain cases where extended absence is medically required, adaptive services will be contacted to assist with accommodations.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Does Treatment Cost?

The campus health clinic is free for all students, but there may be outside fees if the student needs care from an external provider referred by the clinic, or if the student needs medication from a pharmacy.

What does an appointment consist of?

  1. Students complete brief electronic intake.
  2. The nurse performs assessment and takes vital signs.
  3. Further screening, testing, examination, etc. will be performed by the nurse where applicable.
  4. When necessary, nursing notes will be sent to the physician for diagnosis, medication orders, other orders, and final recommendations.

Who can see my medical information?
Both the RN and doctor are required to abide by standards set by HIPPA. Electronic forms are HIPPA compliant, and all paper records are stored in locked, fire-proof cabinets. Release of forms is available if patient wishes to have records shared.
